RFN launched TV Forecast Network providing video weather forecasts to an initial 7 television stations throughout the US.
August 31 2007: RFN Network Statistics
With 8 new stations added in August, the total number of Radio, Internet and TV stations increased this month from 239 to 247.
Total inventory available increased in August from $660,207 per month to $680,330 per month.
August 2 2007: Major ManageWX Software Enhancement
RFN ManageWx™ software is now enabled to sell inventory by the entire network, by the individual state, by the individual format, even by the individual market or station.
In the past when clients requested advertising targeting ONLY a specific format, manual adjustments to insertion orders took our programmer 4 hours. The same order with this latest functionality enhancement allows an RFN staff member to create the insertion order in less than 7 minutes.
This major milestone enables Bentley Commerce to now easily sell inventory by the state and/or market at significantly higher rates rather than selling the entire network at a greater discount.
July 31 2007: RFN Network Statistics
Number of total Radio, Internet and TV stations increased this month (since July 10th) from 235 to 239
Total inventory available increased since July 10th from $650,000 to $660,207 per month.
July 15 2007: RFN picked up 7-plus stations
RFN and SkyWatch shook hands on an initial deal for 7-plus stations for which SkyWatch Traffic is currently providing weather, along with a recommendation email that will be sent to an additional 60 stations that SkyWatch currently provides with traffic reports. Bentley Commerce anticipates that the seven stations will be converted to RFN affiliates by the end of September.
